I have been out of the photography world for twenty plus years while earning a living doing non-photographic endeavors. When I retired from those endeavors my wife asked me whether I might be interested in going back into photography. Back in the film days, I was a wedding photographer and landscape photographer for almost thirty plus years. She didn't have to twist my arm too much, so, in February 2010 I bought a FF (full frame) digital SLR and away I went...Well, I discovered that my eye was still there for photographic compositions but the old body said, "what the hell are you doing!". As the sub title states this website is for us older photographers and I hope that my insights and ideas might help us out male or female. The main content will be at my blog with the majority of my photographs over in my gallery. Oh yes, what is this digital darkroom I hear about, I don't see any enlargers, film tanks, or print drums around here, we must explore this also. I hope you enjoy this website and please tell you friends about me and this site.
As the above image suggests a new, although continuing, chapter in my life capturing digital images this time around. We will see how this goes in body, soul, and of course equipment to make this all happen.
